ELSINORE - Jack C. Christensen, 81, Elsinore, passed away March 16, 2008, in Richfield.

He was born Sept. 19, 1926, in Elsinore, to Emeron and Kathleen Christensen Christensen.

He married Yvonne Cherie Workman in the Manti LDS temple Nov. 18, 1959.

Jack served during World War II, and after returning home served an LDS mission to the western states Mission. He had many callings, including being a Sunday school teacher. Jack served on the Watts Mountain Cattle Association for many years. He had a love for farming and ranching.

Jack is survived by his wife, Cherie; children, Jacquelyn and Lane Nebeker, Richfield; Jennifer and Leroy Whipple, South Jordan; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers and sister, Rex and JoAnn Christensen, Salina; Gwen and Newell Bryan, Salt Lake City; and Clark and Norma Christensen, Elsinore.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister and brother-in-law, Lila Lee and Dick Isbell.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 20, at 1 p.m., in the Elsinore LDS ward chapel.

Interment will be in the Elsinore City Cemetery with military rites accorded by the Elsinore American Legion Post #75 and A Btry 2nd BN 222 FA, Richfield.
