Gwen LaRae Bryan, 83, passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 27, 2017 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Gwen was born June 19, 1933 in Elsinore to Emeron and Kathleen Christensen.

She married William Newell Bryan on November 23, 1957 in Elsinore.

She was a member of the LDS Church, and loved serving her neighbors, friends, and family. Gwen attended South Sevier High School and Snow College. She worked for ZCMI/Macy’s as a credit manager for twenty-seven years.

Gwen’s greatest love was anything involving her children and grandchildren. She loved unconditionally and was selfless in giving no matter the cause. She was an outstanding example to us all. This is a heartfelt loss to our family and we will miss her dearly.

Our family expresses sincere gratitude to the staff at both Intermountain Medical Center and Aspen Ridge Transitional Rehab.

Gwen is survived by her children, Brent (Patty) Bryan, Kathy Bryan, Matthew (Susan) Bryan, Robert (April) Bryan, Karen Gwen Bryan, and Karol Jeanne (Geoff) Dean; step-daughter, Brenda (Gordon) Hoskins; twenty-five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and brothers, Rex (JoAnn) Christensen and Clark (Norma) Christensen. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings, Jack Christensen and Lila Lee (Dick) Isbell.
