Daniel J. Seymour, 76, died Tuesday, June 20, 2023, after a period of declining health.

He was predeceased by his twin brother, David E. Seymour.

Daniel was born in Fitchburg and raised in Ashby and Clinton, son of Albert H. and Persis L. (Glidden) Seymour, and was a graduate of Fitchburg Vocational High School, Class of 1965. He was a long-time resident of South Lancaster.

For many years until retirement, he worked in shipping and receiving for Boutwell Owens Co., Fitchburg. Previously, he was employed at McKesson and Clinton Tire.

A member of the Village Church of Seventh-day Adventists, he enjoyed spending time at camp with his family and friends. His greatest joy was found in spending time with his loved ones and helping others whenever possible.

Relatives and friends will gather to honor and remember Daniel's life at a Memorial Service to be held on Sunday, July 2, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the Village Church, 75 Sawyer Street, South Lancaster, MA 01561. In lieu of flowers, please consider honoring Daniel's memory with a contribution to help support Camp Winnekeag in Ashburnham. Donations should be mailed to the Southern New England Conference, 34 Sawyer St., South Lancaster, MA 01561.
