He was born February 3, 1958 in McMinnville, TN, was of the Baptist Faith, worked at Carrier Air Conditioning for over 28 years and more recently as a truck driver for Averitt Express, was a member of Warren Masonic Lodge No. 125 F& AM, a jack of all trades, and loved fishing and camping with his family.
Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents, Clayton Arvell and Mary Katherine Childers Jones; sister, Judy Jones Woodlee; and brother, Kenneth Arvell Jones.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Reba Pettit Jones; children, Clayton Blake (Allison) Jones, Coty West Jones (fiancΓ©e Breanna), and Katie Nicole (Kevin) Powell; grandchildren, Carter Blake Jones, and Liam Mason Powell; sister-in-law, Doris Jones; brother-in -law, Jerry Woodlee; and several other family members and family friends also survive.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 22, 2023 in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel with Jerry Wiser officiating. Interment will follow at Jefferson Cemetery in Dekalb County, TN.
