Elisabeth was born about 1770-73, in Frederick County, Maryland. She married first Thomas Clark and had one son with him, John Clark. After Thomas died she remarried Michael Fair on November 8, 1803, and with him and their children and her brother Jacob Blickenstaff and his family removed to Miami County, Ohio, about 1806. She and her children all resided in Miami County until her death, June 6, 1839. Her grave was marked only by a field stone.
