Travis Benton Absher, age 83, of the Road Ridge section of Raven, Virginia, passed away Friday, September 15, 2023 at his home.
He was born in Raven, Virginia and was the son of the late James T. Absher and Carrie Green Absher.
He was a life long resident of the area and was retired from Mullins Ford, Prestige Ford, Keene Drilling, and Gasco. He was a Richlands High School graduate and he loved God, his family, and his cows.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Thurman David Absher.

Eddie Hess officiating. Interment will follow at the Absher Family Cemetery on Road Ridge near Raven, Virginia. Pallbearers will be: Benny Sparks, Danny Smith, Kevin Sparks, Nat Smith, Keaton Smith, Caleb Sparks, and Tommy Osborne. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Brothers and Brothers in Law.
