Carolyn Appling, 67 years, of Louise, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 24, 1946 in El Campo, to the late Claude and Kathleen Menefee Appling. She graduated from Louise High School. She was a loving and caring homemaker.

Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Perri Raz and husband Bo of Ganado; sons, Troy Appling and fiancée Lorena of Louise and Carl Lostracco of Oklahoma; sisters, Kathleen Ellis and husband David of Louise and Claudine Ayres and husband

Appling John of Sealy; 12 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl Lostracco; brothers, Dick Appling, Clemons Appling and RobertWeldon Appling and a nephew, David Scott Ellis.

Memorial services were held Saturday, March 22, at 10 a.m., at the First Methodist Church in Ganado, with Rev. Dale White officiating.

In lieu of flowers contributions maybe made to Ganado First Methodist Church, Operation Christmas Child program.
