Rebecca "Becky" Jo Skeel, 67, of Freeport, passed away, Saturday September 9, 2023, at Javon Bea Hospital in Rockford, Illinois. Becky was born February 11, 1956, in Freeport, the daughter of Ronald and Maryann (Kempthorne) Farringer. Becky loved to gamble- it could've been playing slots or even a good game of Texas Holdem! Becky also loved to bake and spend time with her Grandkids!
Becky was preceded in death by her parents, and two nephews, Joshua Kahl and Jason Farringer.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home. Rev. Isaac Jackson will officiate. Visitation 1:00 PM until the time of service. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. A memorial has been established in Becky's memory.
