Perry Brown, age 66 of McDowell, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2023 at his residence. He was born August 17, 1957 in Floyd County, Kentucky to the late Evan & Mary Newsome Brown. He was the husband of Linda Walters Brown. He was a Mine Surveyor for Elkhorn Engineering. Along with his wife he is survived by his Stepdaughters: Lori Nichols & Sarah Nichols both of Lexington, Kentucky; Grandchildren: Jeremy Varney, Trent Varney & Brock Dixon; Great Grandchild: Dannie Varney; Brothers: Charlie Brown & Philman Caudill both of McDowell, Kentucky; A Host of Nieces, Nephews, Family & Friends. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his Brother & Sisters: Gary Brown, Earlene Caudill,
Joan Hall, Betty Caudill & Rebecca Harrier. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
Visitation will begin Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at 6pm at the church
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 14, 2023 at 2pm at Little Rosa Old Regular Baptist Church (IBA), McDowell, Kentucky with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating
Burial will follow at Family Cemetery, McDowell, Kentucky
