Benjamin Kenedy is my great grandfather and the son of Robert Kenedy and Elizabeth Spry Kenedy.

He married Martha Jane Hokit on April 9, 1885 in Magazine, Arkansas. Together they had eight children, Icephena, Iva, Effie, Claude, Lester, Ernest, Pearl, and Opha.

Ben was a farmer and owned several farms in Lick Creek Valley. He also served as mayor of Magazine. He was a Woodsman & Mason.

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound

Epitath: "The pains of death are past, labor and sorrow cease, and life it's long warfare closed at last, his soul is found in peace."
