Clarence Record died suddenly on Sunday morning in Portland. His death is being attributed to exposure according to the death certificate issued by the Cumberland County Medical Examiner.
Mr. Record had been under treatment and surgery for a diabetic condition at a local hospital.
He was the son of Alexander C. and Melissa (Lothrop) Record. He was predeceased by his father, brothers; Ellsworth, Elmer, Herbert and Arthur; and his sister, Lillian. He is survived by his mother; brother, Wallace; sisters, Lilla (Record) Willey of Taunton, MA, Cora (Record) Soule of Old Orchard Beach, Edith Townsend of Saco.
The funeral was held at the home of his brother, Wallace, at 25 Roberts Street, Biddeford Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 PM with internment following in the family lot in Dunstan Cemetery.
