One Of Pioneer Citizens

and Had Lived In County for Past

Seventy-Eight Years.

Uncle Jack Willett, one of the best known men of the county, died Tuesday morning at six o'clock after a few days illness. He was eighty-eight years old and leaves more relatives than probably any man in the county. His death occurred at the home of his son John Willett in West Mayfield. The body was embalmed and will lie in state at his home after four o'clock Tuesday afternoon. The funeral services will be conducted at seven o'clock Wednesday morning from the Catholic church.

Mr. Willett was born in Washington county and has lived in Graves county for seventy-six years. He had been married three times and is survived by a wife and six children; three daughters, Mrs. Naoma Toon, Mrs. Acenla Kurtsinger and Mrs. Mary Cash, all of Fancy Farm; and three sons, John, Henry and Ben Willett of Mayfield. He leaves many relatives all over Western Kentucky, most of whom live in the Fancy Farm section, where he formerly lived.
