Mrs. Armstrong was born March 1, 1909, at Cassville. She lived most of her life in the Carthage area. She had worked in the housekeeping department at McCune-Brooks Hospital, Carthage.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, Carthage.
She married Edgar Armstrong on September 29, 1934, at Carthage. He died March 7, 1966.
Survivors include two sons, Ernest Armstrong, Carthage, and Edgar Armstrong, Nixa; two brothers, Calvin Schreck, Joplin, and Earl Schreck, Charleston; a sister, Mary Kenner, the state of California; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services wil be at 2 pm on Wednesday at Ulmer Fuernal Home. The Rev. S. Ray Crews will officiate. Burial will be in Park Cemetery.
