Husband of June Gubler
Lynn P. Perkins, 70, died Thursday, Aug. 4, 1983, of a sudden heart attack in Idaho Falls.
He was born Sept. 4, 1912, in Montpelier to W. Louis and Nellie Pearce Perkins. He married June Gubler May 4, 1937 in Salt Lake City.
He was an elder in the LDS Church.
He worked as a conductor for the Union Pacific Railroad until his retirement in 1978.
Survivors include his wife, Montpelier; three sons, Gary, Sherman Oaks, Calif.; Kent and Paul, both of Rexburg; a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Abby C.) Grunig, Grace; nine grandchildren; and two brothers, Douglas and Durwood, both of Montpelier.
Funeral services were Monday at the First and Fourth Wards Chapel. Burial was in the Montpelier Cemetery.
