He grew up near Larissa and in Tyler Texas, leaving the area between 1890 and 1900, after getting into some type of trouble, according to a written history that my grandfather, Byron Walker left. I have found his WWI draft card, with him living in California, as well as what I believe to be him in the 1920 Census living in El Centro California. According to the draft card, his preferred spelling is Louis as opposed to Lewis and he was a Dairyman. If anyone comes across any information, please contact me.
