She married Bruce Johnson soon after graduating from high school. They lived in Brainerd for a couple years and then divorced. She moved to the Cities where she met Doan Hoff and got married in 1974. They had 2 children, Kelly and Ryan. He was an executive for "Team Electronics" and they were transferred to Anaheim, California, where she spent over 30 years of her life, but the marriage ended in divorce. The last few years were spent in Brainerd to be close to her parents. Her kids and grandkids still live in Anaheim.
Suzanne always had a good job as an Executive Secretary and did some modeling on the side.
She had a stroke and lived the last few years of her life in assisted living and developed some dementia before passing.
Her parents and twin sister Diane (Lockwood) Bryant preceded her in death. She was survived by her former husband and their two children, several grandchildren, her half-brother Michael (from her father's previous marriage) and her brothers Stephen, Brian, Kevin and Jim.
A celebration of Suzanne's Life will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, September 16, 2023, in the lower level of the Halvorson Taylor Life Events Center in Brainerd. A lunch will follow the service.
Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery next to her sister, Diane.
