Norma was born to: John Samuel Kennedy and Lillie Ethel Clayton Kennedy in Cedar County, MO. She married Milford Hutchins, who had been given a home from about the age of 13 by her grandparents James and Celestia Clayton after his parents divorced. Norma and Milford had four children: Constance Joyce, Marjorie Lea, Charles Clayton and Norma Jean. She passed away on June 15, 1945 diagnosed with tuberculosis which she had suffered with for about 6 months. She was 29 years, 2 months, and 17 days of age at the time of her death, at which time her parents took the children to raise. The family resided in the Liberty school district north of Arnica, MO, where they farmed.
MO Death Certificate erroneously lists death as the 16th at 12:00 AM.
