He was a mechanic for Petroleum and Dana Transport for many years.
He was preceded in death by parents: Emery Burton and Margie Marie Mullins Evans and brother: Charles Evans.
Surviving are wife: Carla Clark Evans of Winifrede, sons: Donnie (Gena) Smith of Teays Valley, Corey (Tiffany) Evans of Charleston, siblings: Barbara (Frank) Armentrout of Winifrede, Betty (Mike) Casdorph of Clarksville, TN, Billy (Ella) Evans of Georges Creek, Alice (Don) Starks of Campbells Creek, sister in law: Mary Evans of Fairmont, grandchildren: Isaac Smith and Holden Evans and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Graveside service and burial will be 11 a.m. Friday September 8, 2023 at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow. Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet is in charge of arrangements.
