Charles L. Evans, 63 of Charleston, passed away in the early morning hours of Saturday, May 9, 2020 at Teays Valley Center after an extended illness.
Born in Charleston, West Virginia, he was a son of the late, Emery and Margie Evans.
Charles retired from JP Auto Repair as a mechanic. It was a perfect job for a “car guy” like Charles. He loved cars and working on cars. He was also a fan of the West Virginia Mountaineers.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Evans; siblings and their spouses, Barbara Armentrout (Frank), Betty Casdorph (Mike), Alice Starks (Don), Billy Evans (Ella) and Eugene Evans (Carla); many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and great-great nieces, great-great- nephews and “his girls” Paige and Precious.
In accordance with Charles’ wishes, he will be cremated.
Cremation services were provided by Affordable Cremations of WV, South Charleston.
