Lois Stanford Coleman, 85, passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2023 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Union County. She was born on November 16, 1937 in Tippah County to William Clovis and Vera Randolph Stanford. She was a longtime beautician and also a home health aid. She was a faithful member of Bethlehem Church and enjoyed cooking for church activities and for family and friends. She enjoyed visiting and spending time with her loved ones, and faithfully sent birthday and Christmas cards to them. She was a very loved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend; and will be missed by all who loved her.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at Bethlehem Church with Dr. Jeff Lawrence officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the church. Burial will be at Bethlehem Church Cemetery. United Funeral Service is honored to be entrusted with these arrangements.
She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Reno; her son, Steve Coleman (Kelli); three grandsons Ben Coleman (Chrystal), Cole Reno (Laura), Adam Coleman (Lakin) and eight great grandchildren: Conner Coleman, Caitlyn Coleman, Sean Carter Coleman, Annsley Coleman, Clayton Coleman, Easton Coleman, Grant Reno, Claire Reno.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Sudi Owen, and three brothers, Boyce Stanford, Jack Stanford and Madison Stanford.
Ben Coleman, Cole Reno, Adam Coleman, Conner Coleman, Sean Carter Coleman, and Clayton Coleman will serve as pallbearers.
