Susan Ida Deters, age 72 and a long time Hartford resident, passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at Sanford Hospital. Sue was born on August 15, 1949 to Joe and Ada (Storm) Deters and she graduated from Hartford High School. Sue is survived by her daughter, Chris (Dave) Schmitt of Epiphany, SD, and their children Cade (Paige Podoll) and Chloe of Epiphany, SD; her son, Chad Larson of Sioux Falls, SD; her bonus daughter, Stacy (Terry) Kampshoff of Epiphany, SD, and their children Samantha (Austin) Bultsma, parents to Brielle and Kinsley of Platte, SD, Katelyn, Jaxon, and Kannon Kampshoff, all of Epiphany, SD; her sister, Sheryl Larson of Sioux Falls, SD; three nephews and a niece; and many special friends.
Sue is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, brother, sister-in-law, and brother-in-law.
