Harvey Klopp, of 528 North Railroad Street, Palmyra, a retired employee of the Hershey Chocolate Corporation, passed away on Monday morning at a Harrisburg Hospital where he had been a patient for nearly three weeks. He was taken ill five weeks ago. He was age 78 years. He was a resident of Palmyra for 45 Years and during that period cultivated many friends by whom he was held in high regard. He was a member of Trinity Reformed Church and of the Men's Bible Class in the Sunday School. He was affiliated with the Palmyra Lodge 1132, Odd Fellows. He was retired by the Chocolate factory in 1941. He leaves his wife, Sarah (Fox) Klopp; two sons, Elmer and Parke, and a daughter, Mrs. Michael Bowman, all of Palmyra; 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, Messiah Klopp, Myerstown R.F.D., is a brother, and Mrs. Emma Batdort, Myerstown, is a sister.
