Ed served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II, in the Pacific Theater. He was part of the 48th Bombardment Squadron. As a flight engineer-gunner, he flew over fifty missions from our base in Okinawa.
Ed was a lifetime member of the Lansdowne, Pennsylvania, Volunteer Fire Company, No. 1. He retired in 1982 from G.E./Honeywell as a manager, after forty-two years of faithful employment.
