Lee was born May 16, 1010, at Roy, Utah, to Jesse and Lettie (Hammon) Stoker. He graduated from Weber High School in 1927. He married Ethel Elizabeth Blanch in 1929 in the Logan LDS Temple. Eventually, six children were born to them.

Roy was their home for a brief time before moving to West Weber following the death of Ethel's father in a farm accident. In 1932 they moved to Burley, Idaho, where they farmed and started the Stoker Dairy with Lee's brother Herman. In 1946, they moved to Adrian, Ore., where Lee served many years on the school board, 11 as chairman. In 1954, they bought a farm at Nyssa, Ore. They farmed there until 1969 when they came to Basin City, Washington.

In 1978, Lee and Ethel retired from farming and moved to rural Othello. In 1979, they served an 18-month LDS mission to Manchester, England. They passed away in the spring of 1987.

Lee later married Amy Kent of Othello where they enjoyed family, friends and short vacations. Lee was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He loved sports, farming, people and his family.

Survivors include his wife Amy of Othello; two sons Jimmie and Ann Stoker of Basin City and Dennis and Myra Stoker of Moses Lake; two daughters Vanae and Ray Knight of Connell and Lora Jo and David Phillips of Royal City; two daughters-in-law Genevie Stoker of Othello and Audrey Stoker of Basin City; 39 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
