Geneva Salyer, age 56 of Red Bush, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Born October 13, 1966 in Paintsville, Kentucky to Buell and Frances Webb of Red Bush, Kentucky.
She is preceded in death by one brother, Greg Webb.
Geneva is survived by her parents, Buell and Frances Webb of Red Bush, Kentucky; her loving husband, Paul Salyer; one son, Justin Salyer and his wife, Lindsey of Morristown, Tennessee; one sister, Veva Reed and her husband, Jeff of Prestonsburg, Kentucky; her horse, Cole, dog, Starla, and grand dog, Oakley. A host of nieces, nephews, family, and special friends also survive.
Geneva was a faithful member of the Cherokee Enterprise Baptist Church, and also served as Unit 1407 with the Red Bush Volunteer Fire Department.
Funeral services will be held 12:00pm Saturday, September 2, 2023 in the chapel of the Phelps & Son Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Webb Family Cemetery at Red Bush, Kentucky. Bobby Fultz, Josh Ramey, and Rodney King will officiate. Friends may visit at the Phelps & Son Funeral Home on Friday from 3:00-9:00pm and on Saturday after 9:00am until time of services at 12:00pm.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Phelps & Son Funeral Home.
