From the Sioux County, Iowa newspaper, The Alton Democrat, November 25, 1954, Page 6:
"Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Westra received the message that her neice, Mrs. Gt. Boerigter of Hamilton, Mich., died Saturday evening following an illness of several months. Mrs. Boerigter leaves her husband and 1 son of 13 years. The departed was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. L. Dykstra formerly of Orange City."
