Robert "Bob" J. Kenworthy, 82, of Frankfort, KS, passed away on August 25, 2023, at Midland Care Hospice House in Topeka, KS, after a long courageous battle with cancer.

A graveside service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Saturday, September 2, at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Frankfort.

Robert was born February 9, 1941, in Westmoreland, KS, to LeRoy and Minnie (Holver) Kenworthy. He attended Frankfort High and graduated in 1959. He went on to join the United States Marine Corps. Several years after returning home from the service, he purchased the Mobile Gas Station from Downer Tyler. Bob and Jane changed brands several times but stayed there for 37 years. He welcomed everyone with a smile most days unless he was having difficulty working on a project. Bob was always willing and offered help to many people in the Frankfort area. The most important thing to Bob was always the love of family. On April 20, 1968, Bob married at Annunciation Catholic Church in Frankfort.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, LeRoy "Junior", Arthur, Julius, Ralph and Howard Kenworthy; sisters, Norma and Lorna Mae.

Survivors include wife, two children, five grandsons, two great-grandsons.
