Grandma is the 4th of eight children born to Henry Coleman STEWART (1870 MO - 1936 OK) and Fannie Belle EWELL (1878 IL - 1945 OK).
She married my grandfather, Lawrence Ezra WALKER (1897 KS - 1983 TX), in the home of Hubert (Ruby's brother) and Ozie Stewart in Wanette, Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma, on 12 Oct 1924. Lawrence and Ruby had six (6) children, two of whom are still living. They divorced in El Paso, El Paso County, Texas, when I was a child.
Grandma passed away in Baptist Memorials Nursing Home in San Angelo, Tom Green County, Texas, where she spent the last two months of her life. Two of her children were with her when she went to Heaven. I miss her!
