Samuel Max Chartney, 69, of Harrah died Thursday in Harrah.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Glenn and Mary Chartney of Harrah;
a daughter, Saundra Mullendore of Harrah;
Brothers and sisters-in-law, Bob Chartney of Harrah, Sid Chartney of Edmond, Don and Roberta Chartney of Harrah, Richard and Cindy Chartney of Harrah, Larry and Ruby Chartney of Harrah, and Gary and Mona Chartney of Harrah;
Sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty Treadway of Edmond, Kathy Chartney of Edmond, Marylin and Alfred Merkle of Arcadia, and Robin and Jerry Peters of Clayton;
Four grandchildren and many other relatives.

Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church of Harrah with the Rev. Gary Eubanks officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery in Harrah. Services are under the direction of Asa Smith Funeral Service in Harrah.
