Mr THOMAS MINOGUE An old and highly respected resident of Masterton passed away on Sunday evening at the Masterton Hospital in the person of Mr Thomas Minogue. The deceased had not been in the best of health lately and had entered the hospital a few days previously. He was 85 years og age and came to New Zealand about fifty years ago. The late Mr Minogue took up farming pursuits, in his later years farming a property at Te Ore Ore. About ten years ago he retired to live in Masterton. He leaves a widow, four daughters and one son (John) to mourn their loss. The daughters are Mrs C. Royse (Lansdowne), Miss Cecelia Minogue (Wellington). Miss Annie Minogue (Masterton) and Nurse Mary Minogue.
The funeral will leave St Patrick's Church this afternoon at 3 o/clock for the Masterton Cemetery.
