James E. "Ernie" Lasher, 86, a retired business owner, died Thursday, June 8, at Parrish Medical Center. Mr. Lasher was born in Oakmont, Pa. He came to Brevard County in 1996 from Pompano Beach. He was the former owner of Century 21 Lasher Realty in Lower Burrell, Pa., for more than 50 years before his retirement. Mr. Lasher was a life member of the First Baptist Church of New Kinsington, and he attended Park Avenue Baptist Church in Titusville. He was a 32nd Degree Shriner, a member of the Shrine Temple in Pittsburgh and a member of the LaCita Country Club in Titusville. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Dorothy Lasher of Titusville. No local calling hours or services are scheduled. Burial will be in New Kensington, Pa. North Brevard Funeral Home in Titusville is in charge of arrangements.
