Donna Grace Parichy Patzer Vermillion, 94, wife of Franklin Fox Vermillion, passed away on Friday, August 25, 2023, at The Lantern at Morning Pointe in Lexington, Kentucky. Born in Chicago, Illinois on July 18, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Emery A. and Margaret Krammer Parichy. Donna taught school for over 40 years in Chicago, Mississippi, and Kentucky and retired in 1995. She was a member of First United Methodist Church where she was active in the Mary Redwine Circle. She was also a member of the Gideons Auxiliary.

In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by her daughter, Carolyn (Bill) Clifton; sons, Stanley (Kim) Vermillion and Albert (Vonda) Vermillion; grandchildren, Deana Clifton, Robert (Madeleine) Clifton, Kamille Vermillion, Ethan Vermillion, and Van Vermillion; great grandchildren, Brayden Mills and Marlowe Clifton; brother, John B. (Judy) Parichy; several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, William Parichy and Maryann Blazek; and first husband, Robert "Mr. Evergreen" Patzer.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM, Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at the Leon Pace Memorial Chapel by Pastor Teddy Poore with cremation to follow.
