Mrs. Jennie Watson
Services for Mrs. Jennie Watson, 90, of 214 South Jackson, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the First Methodist church in Lucien with the Rev. Lester Myers and Rev. George C. Hutchins officiating.
Mrs. Watson died in a local hospital Thursday after a six week illness.
She had resided at 214 South Jackson and came to Enid in 1948 from Lucien where she had lived since 1895.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Margaret Knopfel, Marshall; one brother, W.S. Shields, Perry, 11 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Mrs. Watson was the last charter member of the original lady's aid society of the First Methodist church of Lucien.
Burial will be in the Lucien cemetery under the direction of the Brown funeral home.
Proceeding Mrs. Watson in death were her husband, James J. Watson, and one daughter, Mrs. Wanda Trowbridge.
