Mrs. Mattie Flinn, Aged 74, Dies At Twin Lakes Home
Mrs. Mattie Flinn died this morning at 5 o'clock at her home on Merrill avenue, Twin Lakes. Mrs. Flinn, a native of Norway, was 74 years old and had been ill over a year, following an operation.
She had been a resident of this city for 18 years, coming here from Minnesota. Mrs. Flinn was an active member of the W. C. T. U. and the First Presbyterian church. Funeral services will be conducted at the church at 11 o'clock Saturday morning by the Rev. Warren D. More, assisted by the Rev. C. Warren Van Camp.
She is survived by her husband, Fred Flinn; a sister, Mrs. Helen Flinn of Montevideo, Minn.; brothers, John B. Blinn, Santa Cruz; Earl Flinn, Modesto; Lawren F. Flinn, Bakersfield; sisters, Mrs. Ray Stevens, Modesto; Mrs. Lola McDougall, Los Banos, and Mrs. Luva Bambauer, Los Banos. there are 11 grandchildren. The body is at the Chase mortuary.
