Woman Found Dead in her bed at farm home
Miss Grace Mullin, 56, Expired during night - Funeral was held Saturday from the Church at Rossie
Miss Grace Mullin, aged 56, a well known resident of the Hammond-Rossie Road was found dead in bed early Thursday morning when members of her family went to her bedroom to arouse her. Heart failure was the cause of her death. She had been dead for several hours when discovered it was said.
On the previous evening when she went to her bedroom to retire she told members of her household that she would not get up until late the following morning. She added that she was exceptionally tired and desired to rest.
After milking had been finished, it was decided to call her. She then was found dead in bed.
Miss Mullin was unmarried and had resided on the home farm for many years. She was born in the town of Macomb, the daughter of John and Ellen Hanlon Mullin of Rossie.
She is survived by four brothers, James of Rossie, William of Gouverneur, Daniel Mullin of Macomb and Leo of Rossie. Two sisters also survive. They are Mrs. F. J. Kelly and Miss Nellie Mullin, both of that township.
Funeral services were held Saturday morning at 10 from the St. Patrick church, Rev. Father De Gardius, pastor of the church, officiating. Interment was made at Rossie.

Rossie - Nov 9 - The many friends of Miss Grace Mullin were shocked late Thursday morning to learn of her sudden death. She was a kind friend and good neighbor to all. She possessed a kind, loving heart, a generous disposition and was always happy when she could do something for others. She is dead buy memories bright with age will ever remain green especially with her sister and brothers. The funeral was held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the St. Patricks church, Rev. J. L. Dejardwin officiating. The floral offerings were numerous and beautiful. Interment at the Riverside cemetery.
Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Kelly of Syracuse were called to Rossie Thursday morning by the sudden death of Miss Grace Mullin, the sister of Mrs. J. F. Kelly.
