Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Janey, Dixon, age 85, of Orlinda, Tenn., were held at two o'clock last Saturday afternoon at Barbar's Funeral Home in Milldale, Tenn. with burial at Providence Cemetery.

Mrs. Dixon died suddenly at her home last Thursday afternoon.

She was a native of Robertson County and the daughter of the late Jack Gregory and Sarah Belveal Gregory. She was a member of the Orlinda Baptist Church.

My great grandmother, Allie Canida Gregory, told my mother on several occasions, the story of how the whole family wanted to name Sarah when she was born. They named her Derrie (pronounced Deer-E) Darrie (pronounced Dare-E), Dorrie Dean Lizzie Janey Josephine.

Mrs. Dixon died suddenly at her home last Thursday afternoon.

She was a native of Robertson County and the daughter of the late Jack Gregory and Sarah Belveal Gregory. She was a member of the Orlinda Baptist Church.
