"Arthur Adams, 78, Rogersville, died at 4:55 a.m. today at Springfield Baptist Hospital. He had been in ill health two years. A retired Frico worker, Mr. Adams was an engineer for 43 years. He was a member of Harmony Baptist Church and Gate of the Temple Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Ida May; three daughters, Mrs. Beulah Mack, San Leandro, Califl, Mrs. Opal Redding and Mrs. Verta (sic Verda) Westwood, both of Los Angeles; one son, Carl, Brentwood, Calif; three brothers, George, Slater, Edgar, Kansas City, and Charles, Rogersville; three sisters, Mrs. Agnes Crank, Marshall, Mrs. Alice Potter, Kansas City and Mrs. Annie Ross, Springfield; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are under direction of Klingner."
