Eva E. Roehrich, age 95, of Beach Haven, NJ passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2009 at Southern Ocean Center, Manahawkin. Eva was born in New York City, NY and had lived in Elizabeth, coming to Beach Haven in 1961, where she had been a summer and weekend resident since 1949. She was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi, Brant Beach, and a member of the Secular Franciscan's and the St. Francis Guild. She retired in 1969 as a secretary with Exxon Oil Corporation of Linden after 25 years of service.
Eva was predeceased by her niece Carolyn Ann Novick, surviving is her great-nephew Steven Novick of Elizabeth. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday July 31, 2009 at St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, 4700 Long Beach Blvd., Brant Beach at 10am. Inurnment will be held on Monday, August 3rd at 10am at Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth. Bugbee-Riggs Funeral Home, Ship Bottom is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1035 Hooper Ave., Toms River, NJ 08753 in Eva's memory.
