Aaron Landes passed away yesterday morning at 8:30 o'clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs. William Applebach, at No. 321 Kossuth street. The deceased was 82 years old and his death was due to infirmities of age. He had been a resident of Tippecanoe county for forty years and the last twelve years of his life were spent quietly in this city. Four children survive, namely: Charles W. Landes and Mrs. William Applebach of this city; Mrs. Ruch of Indian Territory, and Mrs. Kaser of Frankfort. The deceased was a member of the German Reformed church and was a man who commanded the respect and confidence of all who knew him. His life was an uneventful one but it was a record of honesty and integrity. He was a good citizen and his influences were helpful to those about him.
The funeral will be conducted from the residence on Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock and the interment will be made in Greenbush cemetery.
