Mary A. (Gibbons) Harrington, died on Saturday, Oct. 23, 2004, in Montgomery County Geriatric Center, Royersford. Age 90.

Born in Philadelphia on October 5, 1914, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Sweet) Gibbons. She has lived in Royersford since 1997, formerly of Conshohocken and West Conshohocken.

She was a member of St. Matthew's RC Church, Conshohocken, where she was a member of the Altar Society and Legion of Mary. She also was a member of World War I Widows Association. She played the piano, she also played the organ and sang in the choir at St. Gertrude RC Church, West Conshohocken, PA.

Wife of the late Harry B. Harrington, she is survived by two sons, Bernard J. Harrington, formerly of Philadelphia now of Williamsburg, KY, and Joseph Harrington, Lansdale; four daughters: Maryann Griest of Trappe, Regina Tinneny of Conshohocken, Frances Harrington-Dix of West Windsor, JR and Teresa Sagwitz of Spring City; two brothers, Bro. John Gibbons, SSJ of Phila., Thomas Gibbons of Plymouth Meeting; two sisters, Agnes Fowler of Sewell, NJ and Margaret Bianco of West Conshohocken; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by a stepson, Harry B. Harrington, Jr.
