Charles William Blackwell Age 62 of Fredericksburg, Texas went home To His Savior JESUS OUR LORD on Thursday July 27th, 2023 while His Wife Tammy Jo Blackwell held Charles hand to take his final breath.

Charles was over exposed to toxic chemicals while serving 31 years in the United States Military.

Charles & Tammy Jo and the Family of Der Storage Platz grew up in Kerrville, Texas on the Guadalupe River and Graduating from Tivy High School. Charles enjoyed gardening and growing Mammoth Sunflowers to enter in the Gillespie County Fair.

Charles & Tammy Jo were United in Holy Matrimony at Zion Lutheran Church in Fredericksburg, Texas October 6th, 2019, during Ocktoberfest.

Charles was a Passionate, Strong Handsome, Christian Man who enjoyed spending time outside with his wife Tammy Jo and raising American Black Herefords & English Short Horn Red Hereford Cattle, Lavender Chickens, and His American Quarter Horse "Lakota".

Charles was taught the lay of the land from His "OPA" Hugo Feuge the Novel gunsmith of Fredericksburg, Texas.Hugo's wife Rosa Feuge made beautiful quilts that covered Charles during his last days on earth.

Charles taught his Daughter Arena Grace Turner how to shoot a deer & skin it, package and eat venison, drive a tractor and put out hay for the livestock & harvest garlic.

Charles was preceded in death by His father Clifford Blackwell the Fire Chief in Kerrville, Texas. Clifford was killed in a fire truck accident when Charles was 6 yrs. old. Viola Lilly Feuge Blackwell passed away @ the age of 89 in Fredericksburg, Texas.

A visitation will be held Wednesday August 9th 4-6 Fredericksburg Funeral Home.

Funeral Services Thursday August 10th, 2023, 10:00 St. Paul Church interment to follow in the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery with Military Honors.
