Viola Blackwell passed away Friday, April 24th, at the age of 89.
Viola is survived by her children: Charles Blackwell and wife Tammy Jo of Fredericksburg, John Blackwell of Kerrville, step-son Roy Jones and wife Sherrie of San Antonio; 2 step grandchildren: Tiffany Lakey and Arena Grace Turner , 3 step great grandchildren and sister-in-law Betty Blackwell of Kerrville.
Viola was born January 28, 1931, in Gillespie County, to Hugo and Rose Treibs Feuge. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Clifford Blackwell and second husband Lee Jones.
The family will conduct private graveside services with a Celebration of Life held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to Labor of Love of Zion Lutheran Church, Zion Lutheran Church, or the charity of one’s choice.
