VICKI M. BURK, age 72, of Maumee, OH, formerly of Piqua, went home to be with the Lord at 8:50 AM on Monday, July 24, 2023 at The Lakes of Monclova, Maumee, OH. She was born on April 10, 1951 in Piqua, OH to the late Richard E. and Esther B. (McGillvary) Langston.
She is survived by two sons: Rob (Kathy) Draving, New Carlisle, OH, Tim (Becky) Puls, Toledo, OH; one daughter: Jen (Chuck) Kaniewski, Maumee, OH; three brothers: Michael A. Langston, Covington, OH; Douglas (Christine) Langston, Mt. Vernon, OH; Kieth B. (Jane) Langston, Piqua, OH; seven grandchildren: Alexandra (Steven) Draving Eckstein, Andrew Draving, Cody Draving, Cameron Boyd, Charlotte Kaniewski, Lillian Kaniewski, Mo Puls, Tyler (Haley) Kaniewski; five great-grandchildren: Bentley, Tyler, Sophie, Parker, and Miracle. She was preceded in death by one brother: Ralph "Ed" Langston.
Vicki graduated from Piqua High School in 1969. She attended Piqua Church of the Nazarene, Piqua. She was a foster parent of 49 children.
A celebration of Vicki's life will be held on Monday, July 31, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home in Piqua, OH with Pastor Lincoln Robinson officiating. Burial to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Piqua, OH. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
