Miss Linda Brizendine, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Hester Brizendine, 705 Backusburg road, became the bride of Mr. George Ehrhardt Kohn
of Philadelphia, Pa., son of Dr. and Mrs. Ernest Houseal Kohn of Mount Holly. N. C., Wednesday afternoon.

The nuptial service took place in front of the fireplace in the living room in the home of the bride's parents. An altar of massed ferns and baskets of white dahlias with two seven branch candelabra holding white tall lighted tapers, one on each side of the fireplace made a beautiful background. A beautiful bouquet of roses adorned the piano in the music room.

In the presence of the Immediate families of the young couple and many friends the impres sive single ring ceremony was read by the father of the bridegroom, the Rev. Dr. Ernest Houseal Kohn, pastor of Lutheran church, Mount Holly, N. and the Rev. W. D. Daugherty, pastor of the First Christian church of this city. The nuptial prayer was given by Rev. Daugherty while the young couple knelt on white satin kneeling pillows.

Just before the ceremony Mrs. L. R. Johnston, sister of Mr, Kohn, sang, Promise Me" and "At Dawning." She was accompanied by Mrs. C. A. Byrn at the piano. For the entrance of the bridal party Mrs. Byrn played strains from Lohengrin's Wedding March. During the service Mrs. W. H. Foster, playing the violin, accompanied by Mrs. Byrn, played sortly "liebes-traum," by Listz and "Valse" by Brahm. For the recessional Mrs. Byrn played Mendelssohn's Wedding March.

Miss Emily Sue Moore of Hopkinsville, only attendant of the bride, led the procession to the altar. She wore Patou model of hyacinth blue velvet and carried a bouquet of Johanna Hill yellow roses, combined with blue forget-me-nots.

The bride, on the arm of her father, followed the maid of honor down the stairway to the altar where they were met by the bridegroom and his best man, Mr. Henry C. Cornehlsen of Philadelphia, Pa. She wore a Miranda mod el fashioned of white satin and lace, and carried a shower bouquet of white roses and valley Ill- lies Intermingled with baby'c breath.

Mrs. Brizendine, mother of the bride, wore a beige gown with American Beauty trim and a shoulder corsage of American Beauty roses.

Mrs. Kohn, mother of the bride groom, wore a black velvet gown and a shoulder corsage of valley lillies.

After greeting the guests for a few minutes Mr. and Mrs. Kohn left for a motor trip along the Atlantic Coast. The bride travel ed in a beet-root suit trimmed in crossed fox. Her hat was in the same shade and accessories were brown. They will be at home in Philadelphia after October 10.

Out-of-town guests included: Dr. and Mrs. E. H. Kohn of Mount Holly, N. parents of the bridegroom. and his sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Keller of Mount Holly and Mrs. L. R. Johnston of Charlotte, N. C., Mr. Henry C. Cornehlsen, Philadelphia, Miss Emily Sue Moore, Hopkinsville; Mrs. Me;; Dedrick of Paducah, Mr. and Mrs. John M. Rowlett, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Rowlett, Mr. and Mrs. William Caplinger all of Murray; Miss Carrie Allison, Wythevllle, Va., Miss Eddie Parker, Paducah.
