Ronald's life was marked by a sense of duty, resilience, and dedication both to his country and his family. One of his most noteworthy achievements was his service in the U.S. Navy, where he diligently rose through the ranks, proudly retiring as a Chief. His fortitude, courage, and hard work left an indelible mark in the hearts of his family and colleagues alike.

His absence is deeply felt by his devoted wife, Marion 'Mickie' Blakeman, who stood by his side through all of life's trials and triumphs. His memory lives on in his children, Carl (Mindy) Blakeman, Julie Blakeman, Laura (Corey) Williams, and Patricia "Trisha" Blakeman, who were always inspired by their father's resilience and integrity.

Ronald also imparted lasting memories to his loving grandchildren: Logan Blakeman, Kristina Blakeman, Isaiah White, McCoy Williams, Damion Blakeman, Mckenzie Williams, Ronald Lewis Blakeman II, Keith Blakeman, Tucker Blakeman, Kira Duke, and Elsie Jo Blakeman.
