FUNERAL SERVICES LARGELY ATTENDED
Held Today for Norman A. Rolland, Accident Victim
Funeral services for Norman A. Rolland, 10 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Rolland of 44 Columbia street, who died on Sunday as the result of injuries received when he was struck by an automobile Saturday night, were held from Notre Dame church this morning and were largely attended. There was a large number of floral tokens.
All of the pupils of Notre Dame school, which the Rolland boy attended, were present at the church as were also Troops 38 and 48, Notre Dame Boy Scouts to which he belonged.
A mass of requiem was said with Rev. Joseph T. Smith, pastor of the church, officiating.
The bearers were Henry Duby, Jr., Wilfred Johnson, Francis Bourdon, Joseph Downey, Harold Pecor and Lloyd Nowell, schoolmates of the dead child. Burial was in Bellevue cemetery with Rev. Oscar Charland officiating at the grave. A Boy Scout service was also conducted at the grave and was concluded by the sounding of "Taps."
