Lillian was a long-time member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Peralta, NM, where she and her late husband, Jimmy served as Mayordomos of their parish and Padrinos of the infant Jesus. Lillian took pride in being a member of her Catholic community where she served in the Altar Society for over 50 years and was president of her ministry for many of those years.
Lillian was a long time First Holy Communion faith formation teacher. Lillian taught several generations of children the gift of receiving the Holy Eucharist. Lillian had many other gifts and talents such as being an excellent seamstress. Lillian made several wedding, baptismal, 1st Communion, prom dresses and outfits for her family. Lillian also took pride in making hundreds of beautiful altar linen for the sanctuary to celebrate our Liturgies.

Her biggest and greatest accomplishment was her gift of sharing time with the family on Sunday for brunch and holiday gatherings. "Grandma Baca" looked forward to Sundays as she watched the kids run, play, and enjoy the family talking and laughing. most of all, Grandma shared her gift of cooking for all. Lillian could whip up a tasty meal in minutes. Her specialties were her well known cinnamon rolls and fresh tortillas.
