Charles Howard Ainley, III, born 8 June 1928 at Puebla, Mexico the son of Charles Howard Ainley, Jr. and Vera Elizabeth Wolfe Ainley, was an allied member of John and Betty More's Edward line. He was raised at Mexico City, Mexico and Patzcuaro, Mexico and Morelia, Mexico where his father was a missionary. The family relocated to Los Angeles, California about 1938 and to Monrovia Township, California about 1940 where his father was a missionary. About 1946, Charles resided at Woodlake, California where he was employed by Fred Vanderhoof. In 1950, Charles was a student at Whitworth College at Five Mile, Washington where he worked as a department store clerk. Charles married to Virginia Lucille Warren on 4 June 1950 at Spokane, Washington where they made their home. Charles died 15 May 1995. Charles and Virginia were the parents of three children, Gregory Scott Ainley and two sons still living. Much more about Charles below.

Service for Charles H. Ainley, 66, is set for 1 p.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church. Hazen and Jaeger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Ainley, who was born in Mexico, died Monday.

He graduated from Whitworth College in 1951 and received his master's degree in mathematics from the University of Idaho.

He taught mathematics at Lewis and Clark High School, Spokane Community College, Whitworth College and was mathematics department chair at Spokane Falls Community College from 1964 to 1978.

He was a member of Life Center Foursquare Church.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Virginia Ainley; three sons, Greg Ainley of Delta Junction, Alaska, [...] of Spokane, and [...] of Othello, Wash.; his mother, Vera Ainley of Duarte, Calif.; three brothers, William Ainley of Grayland, Wash., [...] of Santa Ana, Calif., and [...] of Fresno, Calif.; one sister, [...] of Delta Junction; and seven grandchildren.
