Mr. Gordon was born at Huguenot, Orange Co., on May 12th, 1828, where he resided until he grew to manhood, when he came to the town of Forestburgh where he spent most of his life.
He moved with his son to Cook's Falls, Delaware Co., in April last.
Mr. Gordon had been a great sufferer for the past three years, but he bore it patiently until he died. Mr. Gordon was a good citizen, a kind father and a good friend to all.
