Funeral Dirctor Warren, Indiana
30 Aug 1897 Casket for Neri Hunnicut, age 53, born Ohio, died Friday 27th, buried Sunday 29th. They came after us Friday evening so Will Shultz & Ira Brown went to home about 6 1/2 miles from Warren to prepare body. It was almost morning when we got home. On Sunday morning Ira Brown & Orval Shultz went to the house and put remains in hearse and went to Africa Church were funeral was conducted by Elder George Hubard. The pallbearers were all old soldiers It is said it was the largest funeral ever held at that church. Buried Batson Cemetery. We go home about 3:00. I.F.B.
